So there was cookies that I had never knew the name so I made one for myself. I called it 'Tulang Anjing (dog bone)' and then my family and friends also called it the same. When I came to the shop I asked the shopkeeper the name and they said it's bookepoot. you know, that dutch cookies.
I still buy that dog bone (yes I still call it sometimes that way) at the very same shop. It's my mom's childhood cookies and she also bought it at that shop. as I haven't found anyplace better. Last weekend I went there. Bought some for my cousin.
It's Sumber Hidangan, the name of the shop. At Braga st Bandung. Established in 1929. Here are some photos I managed to take.
This is my favorite, the reason I come there mostly. LOL. You can see the menu is in Dutch. While waiting the bokkepoot being packed, I decided to try some of their cake or bread. Here are some of the choices.
See the old chairs, tables, lamp. It just like visiting your granny's old home. even they put the big old scale in display and the cashier machine although is's modern still surrounded by trellis work.
And what I wore that day……..

But I ended up with almond cake (Rp. 10k) and profiterole (Rp. 8K)
