Itsy Bitsy of French Manicure

For years, I've loved french manicure. I like that it clean, colorless with white tip of your nails. It also says that you have a healthy glowing nails, at least I think it does. But the funny thing is that I'd never try it ever. Till early of this month.

I came to this one salon, TriBeCa Urban Retreat. It's on Sumatra st. no 18 Bandung. Not hard to find, you can see the big red sign in front of the place. and I have to say, I like the place. I'd made an appointment at 4 pm on Saturday, since they close at 5pm every saturday. One hour is more than enough to have my nail polished. They provide; nail, pedicure and manicure treatment; waxing, threading, tweezing; and express hair salon.

The nail polish space is more like a open bar with high chair, unlike the usual nail salon where you have two chairs face-to-face and a table in between. On your right, there are long shelfs of nail polishes you can choose. From OPI, Butter, Deborah Lippman, Chanel, to Tom Ford. The polishes price start at 40k-90k if I'm not wrong. I chose OPI for my treatment.

I have this woman named Mba Reni do my nails. After I pick the color, she start with cleaning my nails with nail remover. To remove oil and dirt. Followed with base coat, double layer or nude pink shade to achieve the color I desire and white tip. She must've done it like hundred times. Her work was neat and clean. She didn't need any tip, paper guidance to do the white part. She made the tip only with one stroke and near-to-same wide on every nail.

But I can not post the nail photos. Already cleaned the my nails.

Since I'd chose OPI Nail polish and french style, it cost me Rp 70k, 20 for french and 50 for the OPI. I will definitely come for try other treatments for sure.
