There's this new family getaway/get together place in Bandung. Cisarua to be exact. It's Dusun Bambu. It has restaurants, gazebo restaurant, cottage. One place with family leisure concept. Triggered by curiosity I went there last week.
I got family visit from my mom and my uncle and his family. Some weekend getaway, 2 night-1 day in Bandung. So I think I want to bring them here, out of city, out of weekend situation in Bandung. Plus, this place only open on Fri-Sun, at first. Now it's on Wed-Sun.
At first I want to have lunch at 'Lutung Kasarung', one of the restaurant they have there. It has like bird nest kinda place. So you will have your meal in egg shaped-bird nest made of branches. But unfortunately they haven't start operating. So we switch to 'Burangrang Restaurant'.
But when I called to make reservation, they said for weekend they apply "first come first serve" rules. A bit upset but too curious, and wanted some new vibe, I still drag my family there. And it turned out I made the right decision.
Yes, we have to wait for 35-40 minutes to be seated. There were 10 of us and it was so pack. But I like it here. I have this interest to glass wall building. And so does this restaurant. Plus it use stone wall and wood flooring. I love it.
How light goes in and brighten the interior. The surrounding is green with bike track, small lake and vies to most of the park. Too bad it was raining so I can not walk and take a lot of outdoor picts of the buildings and park and rest of area.

For this post I want to only share about the place. It just too mush to tell in one post if I also write down about the food. I will make one post for the food that we had, which is good in my opinion.
