Noah's Barn Coffenery, Finally I made it

For what it seemed a long time, finally I paid this place a visit. Yes, I wanted to go to this place since IDK when but something had always came up. Till last weekend.

Before, I had imagined what this place looks like. Prolly because "barn"on the name, I thought it was located at old colonial house. But I was wrong. It just like what shop in general, glass door and glass facade. Inside was spacious but not too big. Homey. Benches, dining chairs, round and long tables. And the smell was define. LOL, coffee smell is define in general, I know.

Flat White (26k)

I ordered flat white. been in the mood of flat white since seven or six months ago. I can enjoy coffee but I'am not a coffee person. Let alone know much about coffee. But I can tell you this, The flat white was delicious. Suited to my taste. The ratio of expresso and the milk was spot on, to me. I could taste the expresso but the milk made it mild enough to my palate. I don't think I've had any better flat white before.

Chatting with the barista, Iqbal, I discovered that the owner used to live in Australia. My thought was he must've drank flat white many times. He also said that although they ground the beans elsewhere, they roast beans and make their own coffee beans themselves. To create they own coffee profile. Using many Indonesia's local bean.

Sunny Side Up (27k)

In Noah's Barn you can also taste some sweet treats. My pick felt to Sunny Side Up. It was pannacotta served with mango juice in yolk shape. Interesting doesn't it?! I had to press down the "yolk" till it burst to get the mango juice. Pannacotta alone had nothing special about it. I'd still prefer pannacotta from one pizza delivery chain here In Bandung. But the mango juice helped in terms of flavor. I believe the mango juice was ready to drink mango juice you can easily find at convenient store or supermarket.

Prefer to drink something other than coffee?? They also serve juice and tea. I got my eyes on several herbal tea they have. I took time to check some of the dried tea leaves. They smelt delicious and some has health benefits written on the the bottle.

I surely will come here soon for the tea.

Ppssst, they soon will open on Jalan Sumur Bandung. It's A LOT closer to my place.....
