Dusun Bambu pt. 3; What we had at Burangrang Resto

Sorry for the gap between this post and the previous two, Dusun Bambu pt. 2 and Dusun Bambu, Burangrang Resto . Nevertheless I will complete the post with the third part. The last one.

As I mentioned on the first post, I will post some of the F&B we had at Burangrang Resto and my opinions. And the first would be, the price is reasonable. Were 10 of us and we pay around Rp.860k. It's around US$75 (US$1=Rp11400's).

IDK if it was soft opening price or not. I haven't been there since so I can not give you latest update. But they mention these were the soft opening menu. For this menu they served selections of Indonesian favorite and three Dusun Bambu specialties. The specialties were Bebek Bakar Bambu Betutu, Ayam Bakar Bambu Betutu, and Nasi Goreng Kelapa Muda.

Left: hot chocolate (22.5k)
Right: Hot tea (12k)

I like the matchy-matchy pot and cup for the hot tea
you can put the pot on top of the cup.
And the way they keep the chocolate warms.
Something-to-do-at-home alert!! LOL

Sup Buntut, or in English my niece calls it Tails Soup.
Oxtail soup with rice, crackers and green sambal. (75k)

Dusun Bambu Specialty.
Nasi Goreng Kelapa Muda, or Green Coconut Fried Rice.

Served in grilled young coconut and shrimp skewer. What it did, giving it stronger smell of  coconut and taste yet not overpowering the taste. I think they might incorporate coconut in the dish. I can taste coconut flavor in it. and I don't think it just because they served it in coconut shell. (49k)

Nasi Goreng Dusun Bambu, or Dusun Bambu Fried Rice.
rice wrapped in omelet. Served with grilled chicken and crackers
and veggies. (45)

Nasi Timbel Cijanggel

Nasi timbel is hot steamed rice in banana leaf while Cijanggel is name of an area nearby. Traditional dish of West Java served with chicken, gepuk tofu, tempe and lalapan (raw veggies with sambal). (45k)

Hejo Ngagedod. Combination of
caisim, pineapple, orange and lime.
Those three fruits gave fresh and sour taste
and it was good. (19k)

Geulis Nyari
combination of carrot, orange, pineapple, lime, strawberry.(19k)

Cumi A la Dusun Bambu. Squid A la Dusun Bambu.

Grilled stuffed squid with lalapan, rice and two different sambal. One is spicy and the other was nut sambal, sweeter than spicy.(62.5k). Since this was a stuffed squid, cut into several pieces, I did.t really taste the squid. More to the stuffing (veggies). But it was there. When I bit and chewed, I can feel the texture of squid in my mouth.

Dusun Bambu Specialty. Ayam Bakar Bambu Betutu

Bambu Grilled Chicken Betutu. Grilled chicken with betutu paste served on bambu with liwet rice, veggies, tofu, tempe and sambal. Probably "bambu" came from the way it was served. Also it came on big dining plate, making the plating more interesting.(62.5k)

Other than Indonesian dish, they had two selection of pasta (spaghetti and fettuccine) with two different sauce to pick, carbonara and bolognese. what's more, they also serve alcohol beverage, coffee, mocktail, juice, etc.
